

This is a portrait of H. Home. I changed the background to place him at Battlerock Park in Port Orford. He's playing his
Charlie Christian model Gibson. The scrimshaw measures about 3 by 4 inches. I'm especially proud that in the original
you can read the numbers on the knobs, and the model number on the truss rod cover. Also, the strings are proportional -
from the bass to treble strings. A while back I drew the Nike of Samothrace (The Winged Victory) in pen and ink. Home
